Dr. Brenda Merritt

Dean, Faculty of Health, Dalhousie University

Dr. Brenda Merritt is Dean of the Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University and Associate Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy. Her work focuses on interprofessional education, curriculum innovation, and professional practice. She is committed to advancing collaborative approaches that support student learning and improve health outcomes for individuals and communities.

Dr. Christina McMillan Boyles

Acting Dean, Faculty of Education & Health, Laurentian University

Dr. Christina McMillan Boyles is Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education and Health at Laurentian University. A registered nurse and Associate Professor, her work focuses on health policy, nursing education, and health equity, with research interests in chronic disease and health-services research.

Dr. Shaun Boe

Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, Western University

Dr. Shaun Boe is Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University and Professor in the School of Physical Therapy. His research focuses on neuroscience and rehabilitation, including motor learning and neuroplasticity. An experienced academic leader, he previously served as Associate Dean (Research) at Dalhousie University.

Dr. Kiaras Gharabaghi

Dean, Faculty of Community Services, Toronto Metropolitan University

Dr. Kiaras Gharabaghi is Dean of the Faculty of Community Services at Toronto Metropolitan University and Professor in the School of Child and Youth Care. An experienced academic leader, his work focuses on social innovation, community engagement, and organizational change, with longstanding contributions to child welfare, youth mental health, and equity-focused initiatives.
